A New BFF & "Helping" with Laundry

Now that she's getting older, Annabel's helping out around the house...like folding her laundry...

Here she is for her 7 month pic (a little late) and what appears to be her new best friend.

Go Stanford!

Annabel and Grandpa were rooting for the Stanford women's baseketball team as they took on Texas A&M in last weekend's tourney. Booo...they lost.

Grammy & Grampy

This weekend Matt's parent's visited from NY and we enjyed a really wonderful weekend together taking walks, going to the park, shopping, and eating lots of delicious food! They also got to witness a few "firsts", including Annabel's first trip in the new umbrella stroller, transitioning from a sitting position to her front (another steps towards crawling, yikes), and her new found love of oranges (and by love I mean obsession...it is the one thing if you take it away from her she starts to cry; we'd never seen her do that before!)

Grammy spoiled Annabel with lots of new goodies. And Grampy's goatie was endlessly facinating.

After they left, Matt had a dream that Annabel visited their family farm and fell in love with the baby calves. We agreed it was a dream that would soon become a reality...

A Quest to Document Annabel's New Teeth

Annabel has two teeth that have come in and I've wanted to take a picture of them to commemorate the milestone, but have faced challenges...here's a brief snippit of the journey I took today to get just one picture of her new pearly whites...

Ahhh, victory!
So, not the greatest pic, but this is the last of several attempts.

Finally a Dress!

I was very excited to get to put A in a little sun dress this morning. I think she could have cared less, but she did enjoy this comb... "Hmmm...what is this thing? Oh, I can put it my mouth, perfect."
"And, I can wave it around...this is pretty cool."
"Whooo hoo! This this is crazy fun, I love it!"
"Uh oh, maybe that was too much fun this early in the morning."

(Sorry Jen, I know I said I would never write like I'm speaking for my child but it had to be done.)
