Hitting it Big

We didn't win the PowerBall (obviously), but we found out that Annabel kills at scratchers! Big money...  $15 in her pocket - Starbucks is on her! (4 winning ticket of 7).

Life According to my iPhone: January Edition

Hanging around with Jaiden, Annabel's friend since they met at 3 month old at daycare... 5 years of friendship!

G and J cozying up while the big kids were at school.

Watching part of Inside Out with Bailey and Dax (a movie theatre in their car?!?!?!  Minds were blown) while the guys were tasting at Altamont Brewery. A and B sported their matching jackets and nearly matching missing front teeth.

Just a regular morning - Josie at the sink washing the clean dishes and Annabel taking pics.

Getting a ride with Grey.

Meeting the "cow" at school where they learned how to milk it as part of their Farm themed learning this month.

J still fits in a basket. Phew. She's getting a little too big kid for me these days, a little too fast.

Checking out the tooth that is coming in (can you see it?)

Ready to Hit the Slopes

We have two trips to the snow planned this winter and we couldn't be more excited!

Tooth Fairy Visits Annabel for the First Time

Annabel's excitement for her first loose tooth and potential visit from the tooth fairy rivaled her enthusiasm for Santa Claus. She discovered her first loose tooth a few days before Christmas but it hung on for quite some time until yesterday when I noticed her adult tooth was visibly growing in behind it. Inspired by her friend Bailey she wanted to tie her tooth up with floss and connect it to the door - and then she was the one to push the door shut! Even after three failed attempts with the floss slipping from the tooth, she stuck with it and on the 4th try the tooth slid right out...she could hardly tell it fell out! She was very excited and we were so proud of how brave she was. We were also surprised at how early her first tooth fell out not expecting this major milestone for another year or so.

The tooth fairy brought her a silver half dollar this morning. And her other bottom front tooth is showing signs of weakness  so we may be due for another visit soon.
