Gymnastics

Last Friday Annabel tried the rings again after "falling off" them the first time she tried them. It isn't really falling but it surprised her and she steered clear of them the past sessions. So I was happy to see her try them again and fall in love with them.

Also, we had three little monkeys on the bars.

32 weeks big

I'm in the thirty-second week of this pregnancy and since it will be my last one I'm trying to enjoy it, but some days are harder than others.  I want to be the person that savors the experience and appreciates every moment that is this process of giving life, but frankly the majesty of it all diminishes through the Braxton-Hicks, the backaches, the sciatica, the first child that keeps on asking me to "feed her like a baby" or "carry me like a baby", etc. {Friends, don't all go out there and get pregnant after this rousing endorsement.} 

On Monday we had our 32 week ultrasound and the baby is heads down and ready to go.  It's also dropped already and is quite low so there we couldn't get any good pictures to share.  Annabel dropped on the early side too, but I don't remember how early.  Based on the measurements our OB was able to take we're on track to have a very average-sized baby around 7.5 lbs. at full term.

Tonight I was curious how big I am compared to the last go around so I dug up an old photo that is approximately 32 weeks with Annabel.  I do get quite a bit bigger with Annabel, but later...like a month later. 

So, I'll continue to waddle around for the next 2 months...quack if you see me.

Train ride up to Burlingame with Friends

Today we rode the train up to Burlingame to visit with friends at the playground and enjoyed a lovely morning.

Emily posted some cute ones of them at the park, as well as a couple of Annabel and Lucy on the train ride up.  They are nothing, if not super cool.

While visiting Adelaide and Jen, Annabel and Kate (almost 1 Yr old) got to know each other a bit better. Annabel is also learning what it's like to play with younger kids...it's a bit confusing what they can do and cannot, like when a little grabbing is just a hug, etc. Better learn fast! :)
