J took down a few handfuls of sand but kept going back for more so it didn't seem to bother her much.

Josie - 7 Month
J is 7 months old (earlier this month) and she is busy trying to move about the place. Not crawling yet but able to get from one place to another, apparently, as I often put her down in one place and find her in another. She's getting her voice babbling with us as if we're actually conversing. And since New Years she's also gained two teeth.
And as always here is a comparison of the girls - Josie's on the left, Annabel on the right.

Happy New Years!
We quietly rang in the New Year last night, making it to midnight central time, knowing we'd be up again shortly for our first feeding.
Cheers to 2014!! May this next year be full of joy and adventure (and a little more sleep than 2013).
The real celebration happened midday at a Noon Years Eve Party hosted by the Willis' (of Quinn and Grey fame). There was a ballon drop and everything. It was a lot of fun and a nice was for both kids and adults to celebrate.
The youngsters...
And everyone. (Matt was helping Josie.)
We even got pictures of the adults.
Kids got to cheers in their own glasses.
