Grandparent's weekend with Annabel

Annabel had a slumber party with my parents on Saturday night while Matt and I celebrated Liz and Mike's upcoming nuptuals and had a night out in SF.  They played hard together - the pool (twice!), park, frozen yogurt, playing with (torturing?) the cat, etc. This morning I had to shake her awake she was so sleepy - a sure sign of a good time.

So, while she was having all that fun with Grandma ("ama") and Grandpa ("upa") we were enjoying time with good friends and good food.  Girlfriends from near and far gathered for the send off party at a big park (Liz and Mike are getting married in Florence, Italy...how romantic!)

We oogled over new babies...

Hung out with our besties...

And got caught up since we don't often get to spend time all together.

After the party Matt and I headed into the city for a night out sans child.  We went to Town Hall where I had the best fried chicken, which was injected with clarified butter and other good stuff (don't think about people, just eat it.)  The next morning was beautiful in the city. No fog.  Warm.  Perfection.

Matt: "If the city was like this all the time, could you imagine what home prices would be like here?"
Lisa: Silence - because I either can't imagine it, or don't want to.

Matt's SF office.

Strolling down the embarcadero to the Ferry Building for breakfast.
