Dinner with 4 kids

We got a booth at Sneakers with two tables that probably normally seats 12, but we filled it with two car seats, two toddlers, two babies, bags and toys, and the four adults. It wasn't pretty, but it was fun. There was a baby table and a toddler table, and the dads and moms had to pick sides, but I guess that's just how it's going to have to be for a little while.

Playing with Adelaide

They were eyeing each others toys but Adelaide had the upper hand, since she can actually move around. Besides, J is used to having things taken away from her...

Homework: giving thanks

We just finished Annabel's homework, which was to talk about what she is thankful for and to then paste/ draw those items on a cutout turkey.

We've been talking about this a bit lately (we have a 'thankful tree') so she had a solid starting point. Here is what she is thankful for tonight.

First and foremost, "my lovely Josie", or "my little Josie".

"Seeing grandma and grandpa and Mimi and Poppy."

Special treats. (Ie. desserts and sweets)

Letters A and N, and "for school for teaching me letters."

"For my mommy and daddy to love me."

And finally, "flowers". (Because I suggested she draw something and I guess this is something she can draw, sort of. Surprised she didn't choose the Sun since she can make a pretty mean sun.)
