Saturday at Burton with Friends

They were so happy to be reunited it got a little bananas. 

These two weren't so theilled to see the camera. 

Backyard camp out

Annabel is having her first camping experience, in our backyard. She is so excited there is no way she is going to sleep. Poor Matt. The only reason I can blog about this is I'm sitting in bed and he's laying on the ground outside next to a super amped up 3yo.  It's almost 9:30 PM and sleep is nowhere in sight. 

To really get the whole experience we also roasted marshmallows over the kitchen stove. Then Annabel and Matt watched The Great Mouse Detective in the tent.

Happy 4th of July!

Matt and I ran redwood city's 4th if July Fun Run with our friend Jen and Brant. We were so unprepared but had a lot of fun and were impressed how much of it we were actually able to run. Then we enjoyed the parade with grandma, grandpa, and friends!

After a long morning we had a challenging afternoon so we didn't partake in any fireworks. Not that anyone could have stayed up that late. 

Playtime. Snack time.

Business as usual...They organized themselves around the snacks.  They've been doing this for so long they need no parental help. 

Hair styling...nailed it.
