I took a red eye to maximize my time there and on Friday I had the chance to catch up with close friends from Babson.
And caught up over a long dinner at Alden and Harlow in Harvard Sq, one of the many wonderful restaurants that have popped up since we left. Harvard square looked the same, but there has certainly been turnover in a few areas (they have a Shake Shack now!).
The South End, where Matt and I lived prior to moving to CA, hasn't changed much, but it was already ultra hip and gentrified!
Southie is changing a ton, and you can see it roll from the waterfront down Broadway. There were clothing boutiques! A frozen yogurt shop! Trendy dining places!
On Saturday morning we headed down to Scituate for the festivities. Bachelorettes for us these days involve more yoga pants than high heels so we headed to the nail salon and then a masseuse visited the house for treatments.
We celebrated Erica's upcoming nuptials with over 20 friends - it was so amazing to see old friends, meet Dave and some of his family!
Thank you Matt for watching the girls so I could take part in this wonderful weekend.
(Did I mention it snowed in Saturday? Bostonians were not pleased but I felt like I took part in Snowmagedon. Good thing I was back in flip flops today.)

Can't thank you enough for figuring out all the logistics to get away and fly across the country for a weekend! So wonderful to see you! And excited I'll see you again, on flag day! xoxo
