Carly, Matt's sister, Kurt and the kids (Peyton, Dylon & 6 month old Easton) came from Iowa for a visit this weekend. It was so much fun to have them here and we miss them!
On Saturday we explored San Francisco - and it was a beautiful day - so it's unfortunately I didn't really take any photos. We took in a lot of the sights eating lunch at the Ferry Building, driving down Lombard, Pier 39, etc. The city was packed with people enjoying the wonderful weather.
On Sunday we headed up to Muir Woods to check out the "big trees". And the forest did not disappoint! Here are a few of our favorite pics.

A couple of miles later and we settled in for lunch - this one, who rode in a backpack the whole way, chowed down.
Annabel was excited when she did get the opportunity to hike on her own - of course we let her out of the pack during the steepest and narrowest portion of the trail. We were delighfully surprised how long she stayed in the pack without squirming and fussing - I think she enjoyed a different perspective from up high, a significant change from her normal point of view.
