Matt and Yvonne are the same age and grew up in the same class so they are quite close, but many of Matt's cousins are very close with each other (and their siblings). Over the week (and a few weekends prior) a lot of memories were shared of growing up and the antics these kids would get into. Although Annabel has visited Matt's family a few times before, this was the first time as a toddler who could truely interact with her own cousins, which made this visit very special. Sure, there were a few squabbles over sharing toys and space / attention, but there was way more giggling, playing, and dancing.

One of my favorite memories is from the last night of our trip of all the kids (who can walk) chasing each other up and down the hall screaming and laughing...it could have gone on for hours had their activities not been interrupted by bedtime.
Also during our trip Mimi and Poppy hosted a little 'under the sea' themed birthday party / BBQ for Annabel's second birthday. Matt's Uncle Frank made his favorite BBQ chicken and (Annabel's) Aunt Jenna made some outstanding cupcakes that both looked and tasted amazing!
